Raising a puppy can sometimes be challenging. There is a lot of often conflicting advice circulating on the internet and social media. That is why we have developed this practical and welfare-oriented puppy course — compiled by an experienced dog trainer who works at the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands (DOA Amsterdam), among other places.
With expert guidance and insight into dog behaviour, you will learn how to positively guide your puppy to become a stable, happy adult dog.
What will you learn?
The course consists of clear modules and instructional videos. First educate, then train. You will learn, among other things:
• Rest, sleep and chewing behaviour (understanding needs)
• Recognising and interpreting dog language (with videos)
• Socialisation and dealing with stimuli
• Exercise and mental stimulation
• Attention and focus on the owner
• Come, place and “stay” exercises
• Walking without pulling (introduction)

Camilia Dallali – Certified Dog Trainer and Behavioural Consultant
Camilia Dallali is a certified and accredited dog trainer and behaviour consultant, and owner of Ethical Dog Trainers dog training school in Amsterdam.
At her school, she offers welfare-oriented private and group courses that focus on positive training and building a strong bond between humans and dogs. An online version with personal guidance via Zoom has now been added.
In addition to her work at Ethical Dog Trainers, Camilia is affiliated with the Amsterdam animal shelter DOA as a canine instructor and trainer, where she guides volunteers in training and understanding shelter dogs. Her knowledge, experience and commitment are a great asset to both the dogs and the team at the shelter.
Camilia is also a certified nose work instructor, specialising in scent detection. Her training courses combine practical work with a deep understanding of dog behaviour and welfare.
Well-being and positive training as a starting point
Well-being is central to all her work. Camilia trains exclusively in a positive, animal-friendly way, with an eye for the dog's emotions, breed specifics and body language.
